Abstract

This paper examines the Nigeria electric power transmission network, rural electrification scheme, issues and challenges. The electric power transmission network and rural electrification scheme were reviewed to identify their areas of strength and shortcomings in the Nigeria power sector. The paper then further proposes the way forward to optimize the Nigeria electric transmission network and rural electrification scheme.
